Sonal is the ex - Global Head of Barclays Venture Studios, Fintech innovation and Partnerships. She worked for 6+ years enabling best in class Fintech founders to scale, to become commercially viable and to unlock growth through enterprise partnerships. She also supported founders to raise pre-seed to Series A funds through a mix of patient and investor capital. With a background in technology sales and capital markets, Sonal now works as a fractional Chief Commercial Officer supporting high growth startups with designing and executing growth strategies and converting a sales pipeline.
As an ex-Investment Associate at Next Wave Partners, I apply my skills in new business development, financial modeling, and financial analysis to source, evaluate, and execute growth and buyout investments in UK-international SMEs. With over 3 years of experience in private equity and investment banking, I have been involved in multiple transactions across various sectors, such as technology, healthcare, and consumer. Previously, I worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Zeus, where I advised clients on M&A, capital raising, and restructuring deals, and as an Assistant Manager at Mazars UK, where I managed audit engagements and provided assurance and advisory services.
